I’ve founded three successful companies and headed up sales and marketing in two more. I’ve been a freelance copywriter and a partner in a full-service ad agency. As a management consultant, I’ve worked with dozens of not-for-profit and for-profit clients in financial services, healthcare, telecommunications, manufacturing, professional services, and other industries. I’m still actively involved in a consulting firm specializing in facilitated strategic planning.
One of my businesses was a marketing communications/custom publishing agency that grew to be a multi-million-dollar business employing 20+ people. In its early years, I was the principal writer for clients like AT&T, Sprint, CIBC Development Corporation, TD Canada Trust, Blue Cross, and others. As the business expanded, I held on to the role of content editor.
Truth be told, I've written most of the copy for websites, sell sheets, newsletters, blog posts, promotional emails, and white papers in virtually every business I've led. Wondering why? The answer is simple. I love writing!
